THE DAILY TOPSHOP : Tartan skirt lust

A part of me really loves tartan. I think its the goth side of me. I had a really short tartan miniskirt that my mom bought for me years ago when I was a teenage goth, although looking back it seems amazing that my mom would have bought me something so short!! Mind you, like most goths at that age, I wore it over baggy jeans. Shudder.

Getting older means you have to find new ways of interpreting trends and making them work for you. While I do love tartan, I just cannot wear it like I used to. I do love this skirt though - from Topshop. Who have finally made some tartan that isn't pink. Thank god.
