Cheap bargain beauty buys for under a tenner - THAT WORK

In my line of work - you get to play around with some seriously expensive kit. I get to play with all manner of creams, lotions and potions...so women always ask me if there are cheaper alternatives to the expensive stuff.

Generally, there are cheap alternatives that every woman should have in her bag/kit at all times. I think by all means, buy and enjoy your expensive creams but it can't hurt if you need to downsize to try these alternatives.....

Vaseline : I know girls who use this on  their eyelashes, lips, skin, in their make -up and on their feet. Multifunctional product. I don't care what anyone says - I use this as gloss and as a conditioner. You can buy your fancy lip products but at the end of the day - it comes down to this! You will not - and cannot - find a better conditioner for under two euro. FACT.
Personally, I prefer the Cocoa Butter one! If you get the Rose and Almond oil balm then you get an actual tint in there too!
Boots Botanics Rosewater Tonic : On some people, rosewater can be a little drying. However I really enjoy it. I find it refreshing, cleansing and it really perks up the skin. I like to use my oily make-up removers like Cleanse off Oil from MAC and then clean it up with the tonic. It's under a tenner - usually around five or six euro. It's genius. Just use a small amount on cotton wool pads.
Rimmel Black Eyeliner - I have yet to switch to another brand. I started using Rimmel liquid liner when I was 14 and I still always have one in my bag. I find liner quite easy to do so I wouldn't be a beginner but still I find this appeals to both beginner and pro. The brush is excellently designed and the formula really lasts. It wouldn't be the blackest of black liners - I think Inglot would be best for that- but still, its pretty good for under a tenner!
Barry M Nail Varnish - You can't argue with a brand that sells its varnish as cheaply as Barry M do and still prove good quality. It has a cult following for both the price and the color range. Not to mention that BM are pretty fast with the new trends as well.
E45 Cream - I am on a mission to make sure that everyone knows about and has one of these creams in their collection! Seriously, I have been suffering from crazy dry skin lately and this cream has really sorted me out!!! It can do no wrong in my eyes!
Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil - I love this pencil. Its so easy to use, not too harsh on the hair of the brow and has a nice natural finish to it. I do like to combine this with a natural color of shadow on the brow as well but it's pretty fantastic! I use hazel which is great for blondes. It's so hard to get the right color for blondes because our hair is so light and while I do love combining a dark brow with my hair - it is good to have a more natural effect as well. I find Rimmel excellent for their shade combinations.
Primark / Pennys  Tea Tree Oil wipes - These have a cult following amongst those in the know. These are the only wipes I will use because they are just brilliant. The tea tree oil acts as a natural antibacterial agent and helps to calm inflamed skin - like mine at the moment!

So there you have it! Some of my cheap under a tenner bargain buys! Have you guys got any cheap solutions to expensive products that you want to share?
